2024 Competitions
AIPS lower primary students Mithun Kannan (2 Respect), V elmurugan Azmita (2 Honesty) and Sundar Sarvesh (1 Resilience) took part in the Fancy Dress Competition on 20 April 2024 . These competitions were organized by Nee Soon Link IAEC. Students dressed up as characters from Indian Epics. Sundar Sarvesh received a consolation prize and the other two students received certificates of participation.
Sivanu Bhavana (3 Diligence), Veerappan Aarthi (4 Diligence) took part in an online quiz competition. Ijaz Hashmat (5 Gratitude) and Akshaya Sri (6 Diligence) took part in oratorical competition. These competitions were organised by Nee Soon Link IAEC and all these four students received certificates of participation.
On 7 April 2024 Telok Blangah CC held the finals for their Tamil language competitions. Sundar Sarvesh(1 Resilience) participated in singing competition, Sivanu Bhavana (3 Diligence) participated in story telling competition and Veerappan Aarthi (4 Diligence) took part in essay writing competition. All three students received consolation prizes. Sundar Avanish (5 Diligence) received the 1st prize for Oratorical contest.
On 28 April 2024, Largest & Most Varied Tirukkural Video Presentation
event was conducted by the Tamil Language & Cultural Society. This
event also was achieved the record in the Singapore Book Of Records. Sivanu
Bhavana (3 Diligence) has made AIPS proud by taking part in this event.
On 15 April 2024 our AIPS students who took part in the National Language Competitions were featured in our National Students Tamil Newspaper; Maanavar Murasu. Sundar Avanish’s (5 Diligence) interview was the highlight of the featured articled as he had emerged as the 1st Prize winner for the National Oratorical Tamil Language competitions held on 7 April 2024.
Our AIPS student Saravanan Shravandhika (3 Excellence) was featured along
with her mother in the National Students Tamil Newspaper; Maanavar Murasu.
Both student and parent had took part in an event Thamizh Vazhga 3.0 Gnanam
(Long Live Tamil 3.0 Knowledge)
